Living A Creative Vision
Learn how to live your creative vision as an artist, while planning for your financial future. In this 3 hour lecture course I cover topics such as:
- The importance of your health and well-being
- How to harbor your creative spirit
- Communicating the vision of your work
- Important business vocabulary
- Pricing formulas
- Marketing and art shows
- Customer relations
- Managing your money
- When to hire
- Wholesale vs. retail and much more.
A full day course will cover all of the topics above, as well as give time for a guided mediation, a writing exercise and group break out sessions where students get to interact with one another to network and communicate their vision.
Although this class is specifically geared towards artists working in the field of small metals and jewelry, most topics are applicable to artists of a variety of media wanting to make an impact with their art and help pay their way through their creative life.
