Will custom, beautiful, meaningful jewelry make a difference in your day? Will it bring you warm feelings of support and love from a kindred spirit? Will it bring healing to you to know that you have supported the unique hand made work of a local metal artist? My goal in creating these pieces, is to create connections through beauty that raise our spirits. Let’s face it, the jewelry you choose to put on your body is personal. With my own art process of healing by engaging in the sacred art of making, I hope to deliver equal and long-lasting healing and happiness, to you– my dear customers, clients and friends.
Let me share the story of these new pieces with you. A few weeks ago, I would have no idea I was going to become so productive this week. But with the tragedy in Pittsburgh at the Tree of Life Synagogue, continued racially motivated killings, and political tensions high with so much at stake with the mid-term elections, I decided to take good care of myself– by being the opposite of depressed. There are a few ways I do that– on the top of that list– making metal art and Judaica.
On Tuesday, Nov. 6th and on the following days, I shut off my phone, turned off my computer, cancelled all my classes and appointments and spent more than 14 hours closed up in my studio with gorgeous stones, precious metals, my headphones on and determination in my heart. I feel so incredibly lucky to have this art to go to in times of need. Here are the results. 5 new one-of-a-kind pendants. Do they speak to you? These treasures are special, I can’t wait to see who’s going to create the right home for them. Click the pictures for more information. Please enjoy– they represent moments of bliss!
