I became an artist because of the deep injustices in the systems of the world towards those who are deemed “other.”  In fact my first mezuzot were a testament to the suffering of my grandparents during the Holocaust.  Before the incident with George Floyd, but in the recent rise of racist and anti-Semitic attacks in the U.S. my father and I got to talking about making a piece of art for the cause.   50% net proceeds will benefit The Voter Participation Center. The Voter Participation Center is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 2003 to help members of the Rising American Electorate register and vote. Since then, the organization has helped more than 4.6 million people register and cast ballots.

This necklace is available in three finishes.  The barbed wire can be bronze, silver or 14K yellow gold.  It comes on a sturdy 18″ sterling silver chain.
